Automatic Updates:

Windows will periodically release patches, fixes, and new updates for your operating system. You can choose to manually update your computer but in this section we will spend time sharing the simple steps to automate your windows update process.

1.) Go to your Start menu and select "Control Panel"


2.) Change your control panel's view to classic


3.) Select "Automatic Updates"


4.) By default "Turn off automatic updates" will be selected. To turn on the Automatic Updates Feature select "automatic - recommended". Then select a time structure to have the updates take place at and select "ok".
