Printers & Scanners:

After selecting and purchasing your printer or scanner you will need to go through a few short steps to get your device operational. The first thing is to use the installation cd provided with your printer or scanner. To install manually you can view the Printer Installation Page or Add new Hardware page to guide you with these steps.
Configuring the hardware to your specifications completely varies from product to product. However a few things remain the same, and we will discuss this briefly.
Scanners and Printers can be setup as network devices or to work only with the pc that it is connected to.
You may set your default printer for each pc. This means that if you have a small network and more than one printer you can choose what your default is. You can set the default by going to your control panel and selecting the icon named "printers".  After you open the printers page you will see all of the printers connected to that computer, right click on the printer that you would like as your primary printer and select "make default".
It really is that simple!
