Stupid pop-ups & pop-unders!

Pop-ups, and pop-unders can be very frustrating and they can in some cases be harmful.
Websites will often use pops as advertising so they can make money to keep their site alive and although these are harmless they can still be annoying.
The other kind of pop that is to be avoided is provided to you through spyware.
You may download a program that installs spyware onto your computer and this program will run in the background producing pop-ups and pop-unders based on the topic that you are searching for on the internet.
Pop-up blockers can stop the pop from ever showing and although you may think that the problem is gone it could still be running in the background slowing down your computer and sending gathered information back to the spyware software's company.
For these reasons we recommend that you install a spyware detector and use it about once a week just to make certain that your computer is clean from any militias or annoying programs.
